Meet Mr. Fisher

Mr. Fisher is a Science teacher at the Hillpointe Campus in the middle school building. He started teaching at Discovery back in August 2017. Mr. Fisher always enjoyed education, which is why he decided to start teaching. His favorite part about Science is teaching others about the world around them. Mr. Fisher joined the Discovery family because of his relationship with John Haynel, who is Discovery’s receiver. Mr. Fisher’s goal is to turn around state testing scores. Mr. Fisher’s favorite part about Discovery is the students, and also the half-days on Fridays. On his free time, Mr. Fisher practices athletic training, works for the Vegas Golden Knights, travels, and spends time with his family. Mr. Fisher plans to return to Discovery next year. Mr. Fisher has lived in Nevada since 2013, and is originally from the East Coast. When he was asked who his favorite sports team was, he stated his favorite team was anyone that pays him. After this interview, I hope that Discovery has a better idea who Mr. Fisher is. We are fortunate to have Mr. Fisher here at Discovery. He is very hard working and knowledgeable educator.
